Hi Mrs Krebs class, I am Celia from Our Lady of Fatima school in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Wow what amazing poems your class has made with magazines, that’s so clever! Maybe you might like to have a look at our class blog, we have only started a few months ago but we try to make it look as good as yours. Here is a link to it http://notsuperman.edublogs.org/
I got to say my favourite subject in school is art. It’s art because I am able to let my mind flow with creativeness all in one spot. Your right to because peoms, art, and singing you have to be creative with it so you can make it work.
Those pomes are really good. i think your class did a lot of cutting the thing i really like with the pomes the words had been cut out to make a big sentence anyway see ay later.
Hi Mrs. Krebs Class,
I really like the idea of making poems with magazine articles. It is really clever to do that. My sister and I like to make collages out of articles and pictures on boring objects like trashcans, shoe boxes, and picture frames. All the effort put into cutting out lines, preparing, and gluing the pieces must have been lengthy and slightly tiresome, but it was all worth it to make those beautiful poems. A lot of those poems are really excellent, and in some of the poems I can even recognize the magazine in which they came from. Poems are a wonderful form of art and I like how you are doing that in your class. We study Shakespeare and his poems and I think it is really fun. Have you made any other poems in class?

Thanks, Audg,
We used to write a lot of poems in junior high, but now my students are in Kindergarten, so I’m trying to find my way in poetry-writing with them. Thanks for stopping by!
