NaNoWriMo Approaches

National Novel Writing Month is coming. In its lucky 13th year, hundreds of thousands of people all over the world take the month of November to write novels. Students in grades K through college are participating too, many of them through the Young Writers Program of NaNoWriMo.

This year fifteen 8th graders and I will take pen in hand (or laptops in our case) and write a novel. We are in the process of getting our NaNoWriMo accounts created, editing novel information, and author information. Our goals range from 5,000 to 20,000 words.

We would love to make connections with others who are participating in NaNoWriMo. Are you joining?
